Company purchased from Odeon Theatres whole, or substantially whole, of issued shares of Entertainments & General Investment Corp., Anglo-Scottish Theatres, Eastern Cinemas CG.C.F.), Kessex Cinemas, Bloomsbury Cinema and Leicester Square Estates. Company also agreed to acquire from these 48 freehold and leasehold kinema theatres. Upon completion such companies placed in voluntary liquidation. Company will own total of 61 freehold and 46 leasehold kinema theatres, which, except for four let on long lease, and for four destroyed by enemy action, form substantial proportion of " Odeon ,r circuit and are managed by Odeon Theatres, Ltd. These 108 cinema theatres have been valued at £8,852,150.
