TRENDS OF FRENCH PRODUCTION FOR 1938
The above speaks for itself. Good films bring more patrons to the cinémas and better sales on foreign markets. The impetus of French Production, if it is not stopped by soine unepected trouble, may be calculated, to incraese still more during the coming year.
The recent successes of French films lias aroused a new world-wide interest in them. In face of these excellent results confidence in them lias returned to French bankers and the financement and the amortization of the French film will be less difficult in the future. Now, one can say, without mistake. that the French Production is entirely settled, and promises the greatest activity and success.
