While at the University of California in Los Angeles, she was "discovered" by Howard Hawks. Then her Hollywood career began. Her first big success was in "Stage Door." After that there was "The Goldwyn Follies," "Youth Takes a Fling," "Letter of Introduction" and soon you will be seeing her in "The Real Glory" with Gary Cooper.
