C: The certificate of a corporation of $125,000 authorized capitalization is recorded in the office of the clerk of the court which named Charlotte as the location of its offices. The company styles itself the UNIVERSAL FILM & SUPPLY COMPANY and is authorized to make, lease, buy or to operate all the machinery pertaining to the moving picture business, including films. The company is also authorized to own or operate theatres. The charter provides that the concern can begin operations when $15,000 worth of the stock is subscribed for. The subscribers named in the certificate were R. D. Carver, 60 shares: A. F. Moss, 30 shares; R. L. Little, 20 shares; E. B. Kearns, 20 shares; J. B. Harrison, 20 shares.
