Tradeshow Dates Set For Three by MGM
M-G-M will tradeshow three new pictures in May: "Cynthia," in Los Angeles and New York on May 12 and elsewhere on May 15; "Fiesta" in Los Angeles and New York on May 19 and elsewhere one day later; "Romance of Rosy Ridge" on May 26 in New York and Los Angeles and all other exchanges a day later. "Gone With the Wind" will be re-tradeshown at the New York exchange on Mon day.
Release dates have not yet been set for any of the films.

Film Interests Seek Cleveland Church
Cleveland, April 24. — Out-oHown film interests are trying to lease the Euclid Ave. Baptist Church for a first-run downtown theatre. Delegates of the Baptist Church Association, representing 31 churches, are unable to reach a decision on the offer and have postponed final word on the deal for 30 days pending a poll of the congregations of the Association's member churches.
Under the plan, Sunday services would still be held in the reconverted church.
Files Patent Suit
A patent infringement suit has been filed in U. S. District Court here by Ernest Stern against RKO Radio, charging violation of a sprocket patent for. sound projection. The plaintiff seeks an injunction and accounting of profits, presumably from 1935 when, Stern says, he notified RKO of his patent. The company continued to employ the sprocket after the notification, he alleges.

Kansas City, April 24.— A public hearing will be held on Monday, before the State Public Service Commission, at Jefferson City, on the matter of possible limitation of air conditioning equipment operation in Kansas City because of the necessity of conserving power.

Jacksonville, N. C, April 24.— All equipment was destroyed in a fire at the Onslow Theatre here, of which Otis Strickland is manager. The . 520seat house was serviced by Everett Enterprises of Charlotte.
