At the Roxy, "Moss Rose," and Olsen and Johnson on the stage, should bring a very favorable $75,000 in a second week. "Fiesta," with Lena Home, and George Paxton's orchestra in person at the Capitol, figure to provide a healthy $68,000 in a third and final week. "The Hucksters" will bow in tomorrow. "The Unfaithful," and Vaughn Monroe are continuing as a click combination at the Strand, which looks for about $60,000 in the third week of the run. "Possessed," at the Hollywood, appears on its way to a $16,000 take in a seventh week. "Brute Force" is to make its debut at the Criterion today following "Ivy," which concluded a third and final week with $15,000. Another newcomer today is "They Won't Believe Me" at the Palace, succeeding "Riff Raff." The latter brought about $10,000 in its last four days, three days short of a third week. A 34th week's gross of $22,000 means that "Best Years of Our .Lives" is still a money-making tenant at the Astor. "Duel in the Sun" is still profitable at the Victoria, where $13,500 is indicated for a fifth week. Meakin to Washington Hardie Meakin, RKO Theatres division manager, will make his headquarters in Washington at Keith's Theatre, effective immediately, it was disclosed here yesterday. He will report directly to the home office, and will also act as RKO Theatres' Washington liaison. More Space for Columbia Columbia has taken two floors in West 52nd St. to be used for its film shipping department. Transfer has already begun.
