Palmieri Friday denied a petition filed by National Theatres to construct a new theatre in Garden Grove, Calif. The circuit told the judge it had considered the new theatre a "pilot" which would enable it to determine whether or not NT should continue to build additional theatres or divert its money into other channels. They encompass modest exploitation pictures and good, top program pictures, as well. The new sales plans are almost as varied as the product to which they are applied.
