New York — The Theatre Owners of America has distributed to its entire membership the booklet, “Wide-Screen Motion Pictures,” prepared by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engi¬ neers, and describing the several new methods of motion picture production and exhibition that have come into use since 1952.
This booklet, which was originally pre¬ pared to familiarize foreign exhibitors with the latest in American wide-screen techniques, has had extensive distribu¬ tion both in the United States and abroad. The current issue brings up-to-date the projector aperture dimensions for Todd-AO.
