( Continued from page 4263) their actions perhaps typical of others in their category who like to loaf, lounge, and love without exerting themselves too much mentally or ‘physically. There’s drama, romance, amusing sequences, and a yarn that is slight, but realistic and interesting. The performers are good, and direction and production are in the better class. This has won a number of awards abroad and should more than satisfy patrons of the art and specialty houses. The screen play is by Federico Fellini and Ennio Flaiano, based on a story by Fellini, Flaiano, and Tullio" Pinelli. Ad Lines: “Boys Will Be Boys Until They Grow Into Men”; “They Wanted To Meet Every Pretty Girl In Town”; “He Had To Marry Her . . . But He Grew To Love Her.” The Shorts Parade TWO REEL Drama TRAILIN’ WEST. Reissue (Oct., 1944). Warners — Color Specials. 19m. Novelty ONCE OVER LIGHTLY. Reissue (Oct., 1944). Warners — Classics Of The Screen. 17m. Adadpted from Mack Sennett come¬ dies, this is old-time movies stuff on the order of “Flicker Flashbacks.” The old gags and slapstick are interesting but not hilariously funny. Starts off with a hark-back to nickelodeon days, showing the theatre of 20 years ago with piano player, etc. Old timers seen doing their stuff are Ben Turpin, Charlie Murray, Louise Fazenda, Snub Pollard, the bath¬ ing beauties, and t he Keystone Cops, among others. GOOD. (3105). CinemaScope Color Travel SOUTH OF THE HIMALAYAS. War¬ ners — WarnerColor Scope Gems. 18rn.
