COLUMBUS, O., NEWS — The Sixth Street, Coshocton, O., purchased last spring by the Coshocton Tribune from Warner Brothers, is being remodeled for use as a warehouse. . . . The Ohio Legislature ad¬ journed without voting on several censor¬ ship and film regulation proposals. None of the proposals got out of committee. Next regular session starts January, 1961. It is considered likely that pro-censorship forces then will try again to push through some form of film regulation. . . . John F. Murphy, executive vice president of Loew’s Theatres, Inc., has announced the promotion of Sam Shubouf, manager of Loew’s Indianapolis, to Loew’s Ohio, Columbus, where he will succeed Walter Kessler. Kessler will take over the reins of Loew’s Warfield, San Fran¬ cisco, from William Elder, who becomes Loew’s Northeastern Division Manager with headquarters in Boston. Ken Croft, presently assistant manager of Shea’s Buffalo, Buffalo, will move to Indianapolis.
