Sammy Fain and Paul Francis Webster receive EXHIBITOR'S Best Song award for their hit tunes, "A Very Precious Love" and "A Certain Smile." James Wong Howe accepts EXHIBITOR Laurel Award for Best Color Cinematography of 1959. Howe directed photography in the adaption of Hemingway's short novel, "Old Man and The Sea."
