Pickus, TO A pres¬ ident, expressed pleasure last week that the minimum wage campaign, which TOA has been carrying on for the past several years, will now be handled on an industry wide basis. Pickus declared that the announcement by COMPO that it will undertake a nation-wide campaign was made with his full agreement and he pledged the full assistance of TOA. At the same time, Pickus disclosed that he had appointed E. LaMar Sarra, Florida State The¬ atres, Jacksonville, as TOA’s representative on the national minimum wage campaign committee to be named by COMPO. A Julian Brylawski, chairman of TOA’s national legis¬ lation committee will serve ex-officio with the COMPO committee to give it the benefit of his knowledge of Washington and his many years of work on the minimum wage problem.
