Coca-Cola Co. Sponsors Nall. Teen Talent Contest
A national teen-age talent contest is being conducted by the Coca-Cola Company. Long associated with youth activities and programs of “juvenile decency,” the company has un¬ veiled its new program, Talentsville, USA.
This is a national search for teen-age musi¬ cal talent through the Hi-Fi Club, which Coca-Cola sponsors through its local bot¬ tlers. There are more than two million teen¬ age members in the 325 local Hi-Fi Clubs scattered throughout the nation.
The entire contest is based on talent, and on the ability of the contestant to project it to the greatest number of people. The grand prize is either five thousand dollars in cash or a college scholarship. Three grand prize winners will be selected.
The contest will continue through June and finals will be conducted after the school year is completed.

i Patrons To Get i Last Laugh Now
A unique system for stopping a film in . mid-projection during a comedy, to preserve dialogue ordinarily lost during a laugh, has I been perfected by director-producer Mervyn Leroy and will be used during all showings of his production, “Wake Me When It’s Over.”
Whenever a laugh occurs that is lengthy enough to drown out the ensuing dialogue, the projectionist will press a button and the I film will stop. When the laughter subsides and, at the projectionist’s discretion, he will J then begin the film again.
