Ace Books are publishing “Survival”; while Fritz Leiber’s “Conjure Wife”, which is being released as “Burn, Witch, Burn”, is being published by Berkley Press. The book companies and A-l are en¬ tering into co-operative merchandising pro¬ motions to get the most exploitation value out of the tie-ups. A-l has also entered into a comic book tieup with Dell Comics on “Poe’s Tales Of Terror.” UNIVERSAL is conducting a nation-wide contest through newspapers, radio and de¬ partment stores in more than 50 cities from coast to coast to find the nation’s number one VIP Girl as part of the company’s allout promotional campaign launching the Florida all-state premiere of “Lover Come Back” and its initial key city openings. Win¬ ners in each of the cities participating will be taken to Miami for the premiere at the Olympia, Beach, Cables and Shores theatres to participate in the finals. The winner will receive a week’s trip to New York while the local winners will be given an opportunity to participate in the local launching of the film upon their return.
