THE WAR FOR MEN'S MINDS (UA)
World in Action
The thirteenth issue of the World in Action series produced by the National Film Board of Canada concerns the war on the propaganda front. Here the Axis nations longheld the initiative just as they did at the front line. But as the tide turned in favor of the Allies, their tactics in the battle of words have taken the offensive. The film, edited by Stuart Legg, describes some of the Nazi tricks of propaganda warfare and the results of the new offensive spirit among the United Nations.

ANY CHICKENS TODAY? (Univ.)
Variety Views (73 62)
For its current medley of Variety Views, Universal has taken to the animal kingdom where a good look at that favorite barnyard fowl unearths some hints on hens. The "hen hotel" in Miami has nothing on the Hull Hatchery in Connecticut where 16,000,000 chicks made their appearance annually. For comedy, there's the Philadelphia rooster who likes his beer.
