Left, effective Valentine promotion was put over by H. S. Bregoff, Palace theatre, Staten Island, N. Y., who provided VMail Valentines free to patrons and obtained permission to placard letter boxes with tiein copy. In connection with the engagement of "Music For Millions" at t Century theatre in Baltimore, Md., Gertrude Bunchez, publici manager for the Loew theatres there, promoted a record campaic to collect records for servicemen. Depots were set up in promine office buildings and newspaper publicity and photos landed in tl dailies. Picture also came in for due credit. Sas-less parade heralding opening of "God Is My Co-Pilot" at the Palace, Macon, Gc attracted entire citizenry of that city. Forty-foot dragon was one of the features of tr novel parade which included all types of merchant sponsored floats. To publicize "Guest in the House" in advance, manager H. W. Reisinger, Loew's, Dayton, Ohio, had special teaser copy and title lettered on ushers' badges. STARRING Double spread 24-sheets made strong impression on theatre patrons in Housto Texas, and stressed importance of "National Velvet".
