Hollywood and Mexico Seal Good Neighbor Pact at '^Three Caballeros'' Opening MEXICO and Hollywood have signed a good neighbor convenant. The open agreennent, openly arrived at, was sealed by Donald Duck, Jose Carioca, the parrot, and Panchito, the rooster, at the Mexico City premiere of "The Three Caballeros", their latest for RKO, and Walt Disney, holder of the Order of the Aztec Eagle. The guests in the Alameda Theatre, December 21, included Ezequiel Padilla, Foreign Secretary; Arthur Loew, retired from the Army and the OWI and returning to MGM's foreign service; screen stars of Mexico and Hollywood; and, representing the Broadway entertainment world, A. C, Blumenthal, operator of Ciro's, Mexico City. The press, cued by governmental enthusiasm, acclaimed the picture, Mr. Disney, Hollywood and the United States in double trucks, and the customers broke all box office records. Jose U. Calderon, and family. He owns a circuit, and distributes Mexican pictures in the U. S. BROADCAST, after the show. Max Gomez, RKO's manager in Mexico; Mr. Ezequiel Padilla, Mexican Secretary for Foreign Affairs; Roy Disney, business manager of the Walt Disney studio, and Daniel Lundberg, CBS. Mr. Padilla, friendly to the United Nations, has been a firm supporter of the Good Neighbor policy. STAR ESCORTED, right. Mr. Gomez escorts into the theatre Esther Fernandez, Mexican star who last year was offered a Hollywood contract but preferred production in her native Mexico.
