McNAMEE, former exhibitor and distributor, lately appointed deputy chairman of the national War Manpower Commission. Mr. McNamee since July, 1943, has been regional director for the WMC, in Philadelphia. Before that he was branch manager for Universal and RKO and a circuit theatre manager. In his new post Mr. McNamee will be second in command to Paul V. McNutt, chairman of the WMC. HARRY HUFFMAN, Denver city manager for Fox Intermountain Theatres, has been named executive vice-chairman of the state's post-war planning commission. He entered the industry 30 years ago. HOLLYWOOD luncheon, right. The screen should become the "living literature" of world planning. Dr. James Shotwell, State Department consultant, told a WAC luncheon in Hollywood.
