MELODRAMA. An attorney, engaged to an actress, gains acquittal for a wealthy playboy accused of manslanghter. The actress, anxious to play the lead in a production backed by the playboy's uncle, neglects her fiance in favor of the playboy. The attorney, enraged at this treatment, kills the playboy's uncle and makes plans to kill the playboy, but is prevented from doing so by the district attorney.

With the help of a girl, matters are eventually straightened out, and all ends well.
