'300" System mounted on jeep on location for "Green Grass of Wyoming" GREEN GRASS OF WYOMING a 20th Century Fox Production Produced by Robert Bassler Directed by Louis King Sound Engineer Bernard Freericks Sound by Western Electric How Western Electric's 300 system handled a tough location job Location shots for "Green Grass of Wyoming" in the Cedar Breaks National Monument were recorded with ease by this jeepmounted Western Electric "300" System. The jeep sped over rugged mountain roads at elevations up to 11,000 feet, made its way into seemingly inaccessible spots, was always on hand when the going was the toughest. Yet the "300" equipment operated dependably throughout the entire nine weeks it was on location. Successful performances under difficult conditions are earning a fine reputation for the "300" ... a worthy companion for the Western Electric "200" Newsreel and Deluxe "400" Studio Systems.
