1144 Motion Picture News Chippewa Falls, Wis. Associated First National Pictures, Inc. Loeb Arcade, Minneapolis, Minn. Gentlemen : We played your picture " The Hottentot," Feb. 7-8-9, and I wish to say that I have had more compliments on this picture than on any picture I have played in the last ten years. People met me on the street and complimented me for showing it. We had only booked " The Hottentot " for two days run at the Chippewa Falls in our Rex Theatre, following a five days' run at our O'Klare Theatre at Eau Claire, at the close of the second day's run the requests came in so strong for another day's showing we decided to hold it over, and it w7ent big the third day, this being the first picture to hold up for three days in Chippewa Falls. You have the picture and the publicity possibilities, a"nd if the exhibitor lays down on the job, he will get the crowds after the first run for everyone leaving the theatre will send back everyone he meets in telling them " Do Not Fail to See ' The Hottentot,' " the biggest yet, and they did come. Wishing all the success in the world to this one, * am' Very truly yours, Eau Claire Theatre Co., Bv F. W. Kohnen. presents Starring DOUGLAS MacLEAN and MADGE BELLAMY Distributed Directed by James W.
