German "Fascisti" in Pathe News No. 16 What the authorities in European politics are declaring is the most significant — if not alarming — development in the French occupation of German territory, the rapid rise of the German '* Fascisti," is vividly pictured in Pathe News, current issue No. 16. In spite of Government prohibition, 30,000 of this type of revolutionists are pictured parading the streets of Munich and packing the public squares. This was a demonstration of so-called " Nationalists " who are seeking the overthrow of the present Republican regime, organized by Adolf Hitler and modeled on the plan which has made Mussolini's seize of Italy's government so successful. The Pathe News pictures show a multitude marching under the emblem of the " German Fascisti," the " Hakenkreuz " an old Indian symbol displayed on a red flag. It is well known that the organization contains many monarchists. Pathe Reports Demand for Lloyd Two Reelers Due to the success of the first series of Harold Lloyd two-reel comedies, Pathe is sending many of its branches new prints and creating new advertising material and exploitation suggestions to meet this increased demand. Since the advent of Lloyd as a star in longer features, the popularity of the first series of tworeelers has been on the rise continuously and it is said a greater number of exhibitors have booked these two-reelers than any others that Pathe has released. The six comedies covered by the press sheet are " Bumping Into Broadway," " Captain Kidd's Kids," " From Hand to Mouth," " Haunted Spooks," " His Royal Slyness," and "An Fastern Westerner." Recruit From Stage Joins Century Ranks Following the footsteps of Joe Bonner, well known in comedy and vaudeville, Ernie Adams, who created the part of Lester in " Listen, Lester," joined the ranks of Century Comedies. Now Ford West, a Keith headliner for over five years, has followed their example and signed his name on the dotted line to appear in Century Comedies. The story is a good old Eastern winter's tale called " Winter Has Came," described in the synopsis as a "simple tale of American farmer lasses, eartabs and galoshes " having nothing to do with the famous novel of a similar name, not even a burlesque.
