Her father is released from prison and comes to claim his child who is passed off as his own, the relatives thinking her a stranger. Letter from old housekeeper is found happily clearing up mystery. She becomes a success in the theatrical world. The husband realizes his mistake and there is a reconciliation. Snowstorm scenes and the rehearsals in a Broadway theatre among the highlights.
