Magana, who operates the Tivoli theatre at Agua Prieta, would open a new open air theatre on F avenue. CALIFORNIA Excavation has started for the foundation of the new California theatre, at San Diego, Cal., which is to be built on Eighth street, between Broadway and E streets. The California Theatre Company expects to spend about $50,000 on the building, it is said. ILLINOIS It has been reported that Grand Ridge, 111., is to have a motion picture theatre in the near future, as plans to that effect are now under consideration. INDIANA General Manager A. J. Brentlinger, of the Terre Haute Theatres Company, Terre Haute, Ind., announced last week that he will assume active charge of the new theatre being built in that city. Byron Brentlinger is to be local manager of the theatre.
