Newspaper Editors have at hand the only authentic reference book from which to prepare articles for their Photoplay Sections.
Publicity Men with its help can prepare publicity items at a moment's notice covering the recent additions to the personnel of the Studios.
WE have endeavored to make the Directory as easy to handle from the reference viewpoint as possible. The running page heads give the reader at a glance the classification of the biographies on the various pages. The double reference in the index gives the page on which any biography appears as well as the page on which the particular individual's advertisement appears. All three of these helps are of particular importance for constant reference purposes.
We also wish to call attention to the durable form of binding which is an innovation with this issue. We have taken this step as we know the hard usage to which other volumes have been put and realize the need of giving this reference book the absolute maximum length of life.
With this issue the Directory becomes an annual published in January of each year. Should, at any time during the year, a change of address occur, we will be in a position to give the correction upon application, or should letters or communications be received in this office for any one in the profession we will forward them without delay.
