MT'LLIX had the distinction of writing the first original three-reel picture, in the days when a feature of that length was a history making accomplishment. He was one of a party of eleven to tour the world for Vitagraph in 1912-13, writing on that occasion twenty one-reel Stories, suitable to the locations visited in Hawaii, Japan, China, India, Egypt, Italy and France. His most notable | picturization was " The Christian." which is still tremendously popular. Recently he completed the picturization of the play " Within the Law," the screen production which bids fair to exceed the success attained by the play. fTTTTTiitiriitTiiiiiriiTriinjiiTTiiiiriimiitittiiiiiTiTiinuriiTiiitu nmiiiEiiitiiiiiTiiiiiTriiiTtMriii tiirniriiiwriiTriiitJTiiiiiiiiTiuiiiiitTinirriTTiiiiniTTnriTrrTTiiTrTtrrTtiTTTiirrTtirnjiiirTf ifP Be sure to mention *' MOTION PICTURE NEWS " when writing to advertisers
