Why B&H Lamps Give a Bigger Money's Worth A projection lamp rating of 1000, 750, or 500 watts doesn't guarantee delivery of the indicated light to your screen. As much as 1/3 of the light can be lost if the lamp filament is not centered in the projector optical system. Filament location varies as much as 3/16-inch from the ideal! That's a tremendous variation, for the filament area is only Vi-inch square. B&H lamps are no better than others when we get them. But B&H inspection rejects all except the best.
