Turner, ACL The Ten Best and the Maxim Memorial Award MOVIE Makers proudly presents for 1949 the twentieth annual selection by the Amateur Cinema League of the Ten Best Amateur Films of the Year and the thirteenth annual Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Award. The Award, consisting of one hundred dollars and a miniature silvered replica of the memorial itself, was established in 1937 by Percy Maxim Lee, FACL, daughter of the Founder President of the Amateur Cinema League.
