Chicago and Everywhere The Function of the Open -Market In recent issues of this publication we have endeavored to point out wherein you are being imposed upon. There must be a way out from taking what is forced upon you to being able to decide for yourself the kind of pictures which best suit your patrons, to the end of increasing your profits. This is exactly the function it is intended the OPEN-MARKET shall perform, and in declaring ourselves for the OPENMARKET policy, we realize that it involves nothing short of delivering the goods all the time. It deals the death-knell to edging in a "lemon" every little while. Lest you have forgotten our previous announcements, we mention again our first six releases, to commence late this month. They are: "Sins of the Father," In 4 parts, with HAMILTON REVELLE acting the stellar role. "Denise," Alexander Dumas's greatest play, made into a picture of 4 parts. "Love's Sacrifice," In 6 i-arts. A mammoth production of Oriental splendor, featuring RITA JOLIVET. noted American star and beautiful survivor of the "Lusitania." "Her Redemption," In 4 parts, with RITA JOLIVET. "Under the Mask," Coupled with "The Poisoned Kiss,'* 5 reels of exceptional strength— another JOLIVET picture. "A Woman's Awakening," Frorn the story by Abel Gance, which quickens the patriotic spirit and touches every human heart. These features conform to the OPENMARKET standard and of their success there can be no doubt, because better pictures, better produced, and more finely acted, cannot be obtained. At any rate we think so, and we would rather sell no pictures at all than sell what would undermine the very pillars of our organization.
