OUT. (F. B. O. Fat Men Comedy). This is a good comedy. Got quite a few laughs and that's all we ask for. Tone and appeal, fair. Sunday, yes. Farmers in small town. Admission 10-25, 1530. J. W. Ryder, Jewel Theatre, Verndale, Minnesota. BAR-C MYSTERY. (Pathe Serial). Star, Dorothy Philips. While this is not a very good serial it has its friends, who always come back for more. Tone, good. Sunday and special, no. Fair appeal. Farmers towns of 462. Admission 10-25. Leveck & Garner, Benoit Auditorium (100 seals), Benoit, Mississippi. THE BIG GAME. (Universal Short Western). This is one of the funniest and best we have run. Enjoyed immensely by our audience. Two reels. A basketball game on horseback. Tone, okay. Suitable for any day. Not a special. All classes, town of 1,000. Admission 10-25. G. H. Perry, Peoples Theatre (250 seats), Cloverdale, California. THE CHASE. (Educational Comedy). A fine hot weather picture as the two reels picture a chase on skis in the Swiss Alps. An out of the ordinary feature that caused a good deal of complimentary comment. A good addition to any program. Tone, fine. Sunday, yes. Appeal, strong. Town about thousand. Draw all types. Admission 1025; 15-35 on specials. H. H. Hedberg, Amuse-U Theatre, Melville, Iowa. COMMENCEMENT DAY. (Pathe "Our Gang" Comed.v). Good, but Pathe has lots better "Gang" pictures. I always get a raise from the kids when the "Gang" is good, but not on this one. They were satisified but not demonstrative on this one. Rural class town of 200. Admission 20-40. L. L. Like, Dreamland Theatre (150 seats), Drummond, Montana. FELIX ON THE FARM. (Educational Cartoon). His antics Iilease the young folks. We find them all good as fillers for us when we have a short feature. Tone and appeal, good. Better class town of 4.500. Admission 1020. C. A. Anglemire. "Y" Theatre (400 seats), Nazareth, Pennsylvania. MY STARS. (Educational Comedy). Star, Johnny .Arthur. A good comed.v. The best one we have had with this comedian so far and then there was Virginia Vance, who ought to send me a photo. Good appeal. Better class town of 4,500. Admission 10-20. C. A. Anglemire, "Y" Theatre (400 seats), Nazareth, Pennsylvania. A SALTY SAP. (Educational Comedy). Star, Billy Dooley. He sure proved himself to be the real dumbbell in this one. One look at him and you are sure of it. It is a good laughmaker. Tone and appeal, good. Better class town of 4,500. Admission 10-20. C. A. Anglemire, "Y" Theatre (400 seats), Nazareth, Pennsylvania. SLEUTH. (F. B. O. Comedy). Star, Stan Laurel. A substitute and of all the silly ^.cting on screen and off, this is it. No tone. Sunday and special, no. Poor appeal. Farmers town of 571. Admission 10-25. 15-30. J. W. Ryder, Jewel Theatre, Verndale, Minnesota. SINUOWN LIMITED. (Pathe Comedy). "Gang." Fine comedy, kids like it. Sunday, yes. Special, no. Appeal, ninety per cent.
