He also discovers gold in the mine. Ike, on seeing the cap, rushes toward the cliff, Is shot by Faro's partner, Gin Mill Jack, and falls over the ledge. The gambler apologizes for all the wrongs he has committed and clears the name of the wealthy claim owner's wile, whom he has slandered.
