We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

ASIAN BROADCASTING UNION BOX 3636. G.P.O., SYDNEY. OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY-GENERAL CABLE ADDRESS: ASBUN, SYDNEY 1st December 196? I am wondering whether you received my letter of 13 October explaining that we like to publish some background information about new members in the ABU Newsletter and would be very grateful to have a suitable statement for this purpose* You will have noticed that we published in the November issue some notes about 4 of the 6 organisations which joined shortly before or during the General Assembly and I was hoping that we would have a statement about NAEB for the December issue, which will be completed within the next few days. I fully understand that you may have been away from Washington or may have had some pressing work on hand but I hope that it will be possible for you to let us have some material about NAEB in time for the January issue. I hope also that you received the parcel of documents relating to the recent General Assembly which was sent to you from Singapore immediately after the meeting. As I mentioned in my letter of 6 November, the address on the parcel lacked detail, so we were a little concerned about whether it would arrive safely. With kindest regards, Mr William G. Harley, President, National Association of Educational Broadcasters, 1346 Connecticut Avenue NW Suite 1101 Dupont Circle Building, WASHINGTON. D.C. 20036, U.S.A.
