Schooley, President National Association of Educational Broadcasters Ik Gregory Hall Urbana, Illinois Dear Mr. Schooley: I wish to refer to my letter of June 27, 1957, in which I advised you that The Ford Foundation had approved a grant of $97,000 to the National Association of Educational Broadcasters to support projects in the further professional development of education by television and radio. The grant supplemented a previous Foundation grant in the amount of $9^,000 made for this project, of which youwsre advised by my letter of May 21, 1956. It was made in support of activities of the fiscal year 1957 - 1958 * I am now pleased to advise you that, in response to your letters of March 30 and April 27, 1959 to Mr. James W. Armsey of the Foundation staff, the terms of this grant have been modified, extending the period of the grant for approximately two years beyond the original termination date so that the funds may be used during the fiscal year 1959 - 1960 .
