Ruth E. Swanson, KUOM's new program production director, is the head of the station's program department. While an undergraduate member of the University Radio Guild, Miss Swanson took part in many KUOM dramatic programs. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, she taught in the University Speech Department, and also held a graduate
RUTH E. SWANSON fellowship at KUOM. Before assuming her presProgram Production Director ent position, she was a program supervisor at KUOM.
Miss Swanson is a member of the National Collegiate Players, Masquers, Zeta Phi Eta, and Mortar Board. Her radio activities include regular appearances over other Minnesota stations as actress and commentator.
