McCarty Radio Station WHA Madison, Wisconsin Dear Mr. McCarty: Replying to your letter of February 25th, the Board of directors have instructed me to advise you that the same consideration which is being shown your group by A.S.C.A.P. and the Warner Bros, group of publishers will be shown by this Society. At this writing, the applications for the classi¬ fication of Licensee Membership under which your group will be accepted in the Society, are not ready. Nevertheless, you have our definite assurance that nothing will be done to hinder your good work in the educational field, but rather, every measure of cooperation will be expended. Just as soon as the applications are ready they will be forwarded. In the meantime, you are at liberty to advise your members that they are free to continue as in the past with regard to the use of the talents of our jaerabers through the medium of recordings.
