N A £ 8 NEWS LETTER Office or Executive Secretary Urbana, Illinois September I* 1941 SEE YOU AT PURDUEI Program Chairman Gilbert Williams and his host staff have been BUSY ARRANGING THE NAEB CONVENTION* MOST EVERYTHING IS NOW SET FOR THE MEETING* The REST FALLS UPON THE SHOULDERS OF THE NAE8 MEMBERS. YOU SHOULD PLAN TO BE THERE; YOU SHOULD PLAN TO BRING MANY MEMBERS OF YOUR STAFF WITH YOU* See the attached program. Note that the program is planned for MEMBER PARTICIPATION. YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS WILL HELP IMMENSELY IN MAKING THE CONFERENCE A SUCCESS. IT IS SUGGESTED THAT MEMBERS SHOULD BRING ALONG TRANSCRIPTIONS OF VARIOUS TYPES PROGRAMS* INVITING THEREWITH CRITICISMS* ANO ALSO OFFERING THE OPPORTUNITY OF PASSING ALONG GOOD PROGRAM HINTS TO others. The Friday evening period has been set aside for that. Other periods will be arranged to suit convenience of members. Also, members please bring packet material to the convention. Bring copies of your program schedules. Bring copies of your good scripts Some packet material is on hand and will be distributed at the Purdue meeting. Again* we want to point out that all sessions will be helo in the music Hall* which is air-conditioned. You*ll be comfortable. Reminders: 1. Bring yourself and staff. 2 .
