We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

7 RCA has announced that new image orthicons using 750 line “Micro-Mesh** screens, replacing current tubes with 500 lines, are now in quantity production. Improved quality is possible with the new tubes, since the 750 line mesh is said to eliminate all traces of bothersome moire patterns. The grid is so fine the mesh openings comprise more than 60% of screen area. Two types are available — 5820 for monochrome and 6474 for color cameras. ******* DuMont has been putting on a “Price-Buster” sales campaign with some excellent buys on television equipment. We hope some of our stations have been able to take advantage of these price reduc¬ tions of equipment listed in the circular postmarked June 2 6.
