NBC TRADE NEWS 'ROYAL SHOWCASE' ADDS FOUR STATIONS The NBC ROYAL SHOWCASE comedy -variety television program will add four new NBC -TV station and will change to a "live" telecast on a fifth station starting Sunday, April 6 (7:00 p.m., EST) . The weekly half-hour show spon¬ sored by the United States Rubber Company's tire division, will be carried on a total of 48 stations, of which 29 will be "live," The new stations are WBEN-TV, Buffalo, N.Y.; WNHC-TV, New Haven, Conn.; WHAM-TV, Rochester, N.Y., and KSD-TV, St. Louis, Mo. The station changing from kines¬ cope to "live" showings is WMCT, Memphis, Tenn. MARGARET CUTHBERT AND DORIS CORWITH TO ATTEND CONVENTION OF AMERICAN WOMEN IN RADIO AND TELEVISION Margaret Cuthbert, supervisor of public affairs for NBC radio, and Doris Corwith, NBC radio supervisor of talks and religious broadcasts, will attend the national con¬ vention of American Women in Radio and Television April 4-6 in Detroit. Mrs. Corwith is Eastern vice-president of the or¬ ganization, and Miss Cuthbert is president of the New York City chapter. NBC -New York, 4/1/52
