Eddie Cantor was star of the top-rated pro¬ gram, seen from 8-9 p.m., EST, with Grouchc Marx, Wally Cox and Connie Russell his guests. Trailing the Cantor show in the Trendex rankings was "Toast of the Town" (CBS), with a 24.3 rating. o NBC-TV’S MARTHA RAYE IS TV LIFE MAGAZINE COVER GIRL NBC comedienne Martha Raye adorns the cover of the March issue of TV Life magazine (which goes on newsstands Feb. 5). Inside the issue, the NBC-TV star is the subject of an article entitled, "The Bomb Explodes." Complete with pictures, the story traces her success in show business from the time she entered motion pictures until her present-day triumph on TV.
