Typical of the opening-night theme scheduled for SATINS AND SPURS, first of the Sunday night series (Sept. 12,7:30-9 p.m., EDT) to be produced by Max Liebman, is that planned by WKY-TV, Oklahoma City, Okla, The station is issuing engraved invitations to prominent civic and business leaders to watch the premiere on color sets in the WKY-TV studios. First-nighters will be presented with NBC's "play¬ bills" for the production. As a memento of the occasion, the station is printing charter member color television certificates to be given the guests at the conclusion of the program. Ten-second kinescope-trailers of Betty Hutton in preparation for her TV debut in "Satins and Spurs" are being shown by more than 170 NBC affiliates.
