2 Summer Institute Stanton Osgood^ manager of film production and theater television for NBC, will conduct "Film Production for Television." Ross Donaldson, director of NBC's writing services, will teach "Writing." The Institute provides professional training for men and women preparing to enter commercial or educational radio and TV. It also gives training for young employes seeking advancement in and wider knowledge of their professions or industries, and acquaints teachers with the special tools of radio and TV that can be applied in education. The Institute is open to 40 men and women college graduates and non-degree holders who have had paid experience in radio and TV. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from Barnard College and NBC. Application for admission should be made before June 1 on forms which may be obtained from Miss Dorothy Kemble, 112 Milbank Hall, Barnard College, New York 27, N,Y, Candidates should submit with the applications a 200-word letter giving reasons why they wish to enroll. The fee for the entire course is $175. A limited number of rooms is available for men in Brooks and Hewitt Halls at Barnard and for men in the Men's Residence Halls of Columbia University. 0 NBC -New York, 5/11/55
