November 19, 1957 Attention, Sports Editors NBC TO COVER 7 POST-SEASON GRID GAMES, 15 PRO BASKETBALL CONTESTS AND 7 HIALEAH RACES ON WINTER SPORTS SCHEDULE Telecasts of seven post-season football games, 15 profes¬ sional basketball contests and seven stake races at Hialeah are among the highlights of NBC's sports schedule this Winter, according to Tom S. Gallery, NBC Sports Director. The network's sports calendar for the coming months also lists the recently announced championship bowling tournament and weekly boxing bouts. The football lineup Includes five attractions during the Christmasto-New Year's period. These five games, to be covered by NBC Radio as well as NBC-TV, are: Saturday, Dec. 28 (1:45 p.m., EST) - 20th annual Blue-Gray all-star game at Cramton Bowl, Montgomery, Ala. Saturday, Dec, 28 (4:45 p.m., EST) - annual East-West Shrine Game at Kezar Stadium, San Francisco, Calif. Sunday, Dec. 29 - National Football League Championship game, in park of Western Conference titleholder (time depends on location of game).
