A salute to seven NBC News cameramen - who captured 10 out of 25 individual honors in the 1958 "News Picture of the Year" Newsfilm Competition - will be offered in an NBC News special program,
"No One Said 'Cheese'," Saturday, March 7 (NBC-TV Network, including WRCA-TV , 5:30-6 p.m., EST).
Chet Huntley will narrate and introduce each of the honored cameramen along with a representation of his award -winning entry in the competition. Chet Hagan will produce the filmed half-hour telecast .
Top honors will be accorded Tom Priestley, NBC News camera¬ man named as "Cameraman of the Year" and winner of the first prize in the feature division and second prize in the documentary division.
Other NBC winners in the competition (sponsored jointly by the Encyclopedia Britannica, the National Press Photographers Associa¬ tion and the University of Missouri Journalism School )also appearing on the program will be Brad Kress, NBC News, Washington (second prize in general news); Earle Crotchett, NBC News, Chicago (second prize in sports); Maurice Levy, NBC News, Dallas (third prize in spot news and honorable mention in documentary); Bruce Powell, NBC News, Chicago (third prize in feature and honorable mention in general news);
