The 1959*60 season will mark Steve Allen’s sixth year on NBC. Mr. Allen, who has achieved national prominence as comedian, composer, musician and author, joined the television network as star of the "Tonight" show September, 1954. "Ihe Steve Allen Show" premiered on the network June 24, 1956, in the Sunday, 8-9 p.m. time period. It moved to the 7:30 p.m. Sunday hour in March, 1959. NBC-New York, 4/17/59
