COLORCAST "ART LINKLETTER « S SECRET WORLD OF KIDS" Noted Performer s--Adult and Child Stars and Animals, Too — Announced for ‘Ford Startime ’ Colorcast Tuesday, Oct. 27 Noted showbusiness performers — adult and child stars and animals, too — were announced today as guests of "Art Linkletter’s Secret World of Kids" on "Ford Startime" Tuesday, Oct, 27 (NBC-TV Net¬ work colorcast, 9:30-10:30 p.m. EST). The line-up — as announced by Linkletter, who will star in and have over-all production supervision of the presentation — in¬ cludes Ann Blyth, Vincent Price, Teddy Rooney, Angela Cartwright, Jon Provost with Lassie, and a chimpanzee named Jerry. The program will be based on Linkletter 's new book, "The Secret World of Kids," being published on Oct. 25. Also featured will be children of motion picture and television stars; children of famous people in fields including politics, religion and sports; child prodigies; children from foreign lands, and film clips of Linkletter’s famed interviews with talkative youngsters. In line with the nature of Linkletter’s new book, the format for "Art Linkletter' s Secret World of Kids" will be both serious and humorous. Miss Blyth will be seen in a comedy sketch with Linkletter in which they portray mother and father of a very precocious infant. Price will appear in his real-life role as a worldly-wise art connoisseur and in an unaccustomed role as tutor to Teddy Rooney and Jerry the chimp. (more )
