2 — 1 Music From Shubert Alley1 Miss Comden and Green will sing the opening number from their recent Broadway show, "A Party," an original entitled "Good Morning to the Sun. Then dancers Marc Breaux, Swen Swenson and George Reeder of the current Broadway hit "Destry Rides Again" will perform "The Whip Dance," which was choreographed by Michael Kidd. Williams, Drake, Miss Kirk and Miss Morrow will join in a medley of famous show tunes ranging from "Liza" to "just My Bill," and from "Old Man River" to "Mack the Knife." Walston will illustrate a page of Broadway history vocally with "Tell Me Pretty Maiden," after which Drake and Miss Morrow will sing another song from an early era, "Love Me Tonight." Miss Kirk will sing "Shakin' the Blues Away" and "Moanin' Low," followed by Miss Comden and Green singing "New York, New York." The show will close with Williams singing "Look for the Silver Lining." "Misic Prom Shubert Alley" will be produced by Nick Vanoff, and directed by Vanoff and James Elson. o NBC -New York, 10/30/59
