2 1 Today* The second day's telecast will concentrate on Italian arts and crafts. Originating from the Spanish Steps at the foot of Via Condotti, the programs will include a fashion show from the famous Roman couturiers and exhibitions from leading leather, jewelry and metal craftsmen of the country. Several entertainment spots will also be included in the two-hour program. The April 13 telecast will report on the history and culture of Italy. It will originate from the areas in and around the Roman Forum, with Garroway touring the ruins. Interviews with some of Italy's leading statesmen will be on this day's telecast. "Today" will focus on the social and entertainment aspects of Roman life during the April 14 program. The show's cameras will tour the interior of a famous Palazzo, illustrating some of the famous art treasures of Rome. Some of Italy's top celebrities will be Garroway 's guests during the program. The final day of "Today's" Rome originations will be divided between the Vatican and one other location not yet determined. This program will be telecast on Good Friday, April 15. The shows will be taped in Rome by Intercontinental Tele¬ vision, S. A., the same group whose facilities were utilized last year when "Today" visited Paris.
