Mrs. Frances Dover, of Ashland Terrace, Haddon¬ field, correctly estimated the value of the $4,778*25 showcase, along with six other viewers. The seven-way tie was broken by individual bidding on a mink stole which was part of the showcase. Slightly over 2,000,000 post cards were re¬ ceived; they contained bids on the showcase which included the mink stole, a Rambler station wagon, a gold locket, a Polaroid camera, and Arpege perfume.
