2 NBC News Special bulletins over NBC Radio were broadcast five times yesterday in addition to the regularly scheduled news broadcasts. Two special TV reports were also presented by NBC News. One, at 7:25 p.m., EST, featured reports from Miami and Jacksonville, Fla., and an interview in Washington with Ernesto Betancourt, a Castro representative. NBC's Martin Agronsky conducted the interview. Leif Eid also gave a report on the State Department's reaction to the change in Cuban government. The second TV special, at 11:01 p.m., EST, featured film from Havana and further pickups from Miami and Jacksonville. Three TV bulletins were also presented during the day. The "Today" show over the NBC -TV Network devoted about a third of its two-hour programming yesterday and this morning to the Cuban situation. "Today" had a live picture this morning originating from Station CMQ-TV in Havana, with a Cuban news commentator presenting a report. Film coverage of the arrival of Batista family members in Jacksonville has also been shown on "Today."
