JASON ROBARDS JR. JASON ROBARDS JR. (Abe Lincoln) — Jason Robards Jr. won overnight prominence in the theater when he starred on Broadway in Eugene O'Neill's "The Ice Man Commeth" as Hickey, the salesman. Later the play was presented on television in two separate two-hour productions, in which he starred. Winner of Broadway's Tony Award for his title role in "The Disenchanted," Robards also starred in "Long Day's Journey into Night," "Big Fish, Little Fish" and "A Thousand Clowns." Robards will star this season in Arthur Miller's new drama, "After the Fall," the first production of the new Lincoln Center Repoertory Company in New York City. NBC-New York, 1/22/64
